A Little About Me
My name is Sherilyn Carlton. I have a master’s degree in Organization and Management and am an experienced personal and professional coach. I am a partner in ministry with my husband and have played that role in healthy, unhealthy and getting-healthy churches. I have been trained in coaching church planters and my husband and I are currently involved in a church plant. I am an entrepreneur and founder of Destination Coaching, specializing in career issues, personal life, and church planting & health.

How I Chose Coaching
In the process of getting my masters in Organization and Management I came across this relatively new field called coaching. For me this was the most exciting discovery of my whole graduate program! I received training to be a coach, hired my own coach, and have decided to make a career out of coaching. I have found the process of being coached to be challenging, inspiring and practical. It is an absolutely electrifying tool for taking people from theoretical and hopeful ideas to action and achievement.

My Passion & My Prayer
 My passion for Christ and His church means that I have a desire to use my skills to further His cause. Destination Coaching is not just a business, it is my ministry. As your coach, my prayer for you will be “that you will be daring enough to be different, humble enough to make mistakes, courageous enough to get burnt in the Fire, and real enough to help others see that prose is not poetry, speech is not song, and tangibles, visibles, and perishables are not adequate ultimates for being signed with the blood of the Lamb (Brennan Manning, The Signature of Jesus, p. 13).”
